Electric violin sample library for Kontakt

“Cannot recommend Auddict’s libraries highly enough.” — Stephen Barton, composer of Call of Duty 4, Titanfall & Titanfall 2

Electric violin sample library for Kontakt

An electric violin which snarls.

Put an amp behind a bow and the instrument stops being a violin that got louder. It becomes something that snarls when you lean on it. Wireburn is an electric violin sample library for hybrid scoring, trailers and any lead line that needs teeth.

Tone comparison

Same phrase. Clean, then driven.

The first 25 seconds are Amped Clean. From 25 seconds the same line comes back Amped Driven Hard.

Feature Deep Dive

Three tones, mixed to taste

Wireburn ships with three voices: a DI so you can amp your own, an Amped Clean tone, and an Amped Driven Hard tone.

That changes what the mixer sliders mean. You’re not moving around a room — you’re deciding how hard the instrument is being pushed and mixing different characters of sound. The direct signal is even included for you to put through your own amps/plugins. Blend toward clean for a glassy, singing line. Push the amped tones up and the same note starts to snarl.

Crush, EQ, reverb and mic soloing sit alongside the tone sliders, so one sustained note can travel from glassy to feral without leaving the instrument.

Feature Deep Dive

Legato Aid

Legato Aid works while you play. Perform a line in on a keyboard, or hit play on MIDI you sketched at speed, and it closes the small gaps and slips as they land — the snag where two notes don’t quite meet gets handled in real time.

The payoff is time. Sketches come out sounding closer to finished takes, and finished takes need less clean-up before the cue goes out. Less nudging note ends in the piano roll, more writing the next line.
